"In (2nd Corinthians 4:8-9), the apostle Paul described this attitude: 'WE ARE HARD PRESSED ON EVERY SIDE, BUT NOT CRUSHED; PERPLEXED, BUT NOT IN DESPAIR; PERSECUTED, BUT NOT ABANDONED; STRUCK DOWN, BUT NOT DESTROYED.'
Beloved of God, in facing difficulty or FAILURE, we need to express an attitude of belief and hope in ourselves and in God. We may FAIL in what we attempt! But we must know that we aren't defined by our work or our abilities, but by our worth in the eyes of God."
Have mercy on me, a sinner. I confess my sins. I am not proud of them, but I acknowledge them. I thank You for dying to reclaim men who have fallen and are in need of forgiveness. I am a human-being in need of forgiveness, and I ask You to forgive me and cleanse me of my unrighteousness. Make me the person that You meant me to be from the beginning of time.
Lord Jesus, I accept You as my personal Savior. Thank You for saving every personal area of struggle in my life. I rejoice that Your blood cleanses my sins even while I am praying this prayer, and I am filled with the strength of Your Holy Spirit. I dedicate my life to You and vow to live every day according to Your Word.
Thank You for giving me a second chance. As Your Spirit and Word reign in my soul(mind), I rise up above my past, I rise up above dilemmas, and I rise up to serve You the rest of my life, in Jesus' mighty name! Amen.
